NEW YORK – Nowadays there are a lot of gluten-free products on the market for those who suffer from celiac disease. Though a study led by Dr. Roberto Corazza of the University of Pavia might prove gluten-free products are a waste of money.
That is what he said: “Considerable debate about nonceliac gluten sensitivity has recently surfaced on the Internet, with a sharp increase in forums, patients or patient groups, manufacturers, and physicians advocating a gluten-free diet. Claims seem to increase daily, with no adequate scientific support to back them up.”
